The Big Reveal!!!

Well finally after a week long project, we have a "new" kitchen!!! The pepto bismel counter tops are gone!!! I was very nervous about doing this project but Larry was so into doing it. It turned out better than I ever could have imagined. I am very impressed with us... :) Larry wanted to get new faucets to go with the new counter tops so that was an added surprise bonus... Fun in May...

Clara came for a visit while Mom & Dad were in New York on vacation. What a great time we had. She got to go to work w/ Mamaw, Papaw & Uncle Larr just like Sophia does. She took to it really well. She learned her way around the place & soon made her self to home playing w/ all the toys, watching TV & helping Mamaw. Her & Sophia got to enjoy a Grandmother Wednesday together. I am not sure who enjoyed it more, the girls or the grandmothers. Here are just a few of the pics that I am putting on the blog... all 93 pics can be seen in my Picasa Web Album...

Mamaw's Little Seamstress...

What a little helper Sophia is... I have been doing some sewing over at Mema's & she has to get in my lap for alittle while to help me everytime... She doesn't quite have the pushing the fabric thru yet, she tends to hold in down to tight... she'll learn... :)

Purple Iris...

Mema's irises are in full bloom again this year. Here we are on a Grandmother Wednesday enjoying the wonderful weather outdoors... Isn't she just a doll...
