Kansas City... There we went...

Grandma, Larry & I made a trip up to Kansas this past weekend to visit some of the family up there. We all had a wonderful time.
Friday night we visited w/ Charlie, Missy, Aaron, Braden & Darlene. We went to Applebee's and had dinner & a really good time.
Here is a four generation picture: Wilma(1st) Missy(3rd) Darlene(2nd) Aaron(4th) Braden(4th)

Three generations starting with Wilma (1st gen), Missy (3rd gen) & Darlene (2nd gen). Three beautiful women...

Saturday morning we got up and drove over to Ottawa KS to visit Reinhold & Susan. We visited for awhile and then headed back to Kansas City.

For lunch, we went to Darlene's and visited w/ Jackie and her three youngest kids; Mahriah, Isaiah, McKenzie and Darlene's dog Brownie.

We had a really good visit there and then we all went to our hotel where the kids had a great time swimming. They were little water bugs.
It was a great weekend spent w/ family and you can't beat that.

Visiting with family is the greatest sport in the world. If you live far apart like Kansas and Texas it is really great that you make the effort to get together as often as possible.

I am so glad every one had a good time.

See U tomorrow, pancakes? Mom

Wow, Missy really has grown since the last time I saw her. Of course that was 20 years ago. :) Glad you had a good visit and got home safely. Thought about calling, but never made it to the phone. See ya tomorrow.
