Also, the two pictures taken at a different time of day makes a difference also. The new pic was taken in the morning and the old pic was taken in the afternoon. Or was it vice versa. No shadoes on the new roof almost hide the roof above the windows.

It really looks good both ways. The lighter roof will reflect the heat better. Maybe it will keep the house a little cooler.
I don't see how they could do it, it is so steep.

Yes the before pic was taken on Tues at 8:33a & the after pic was taken on Thursday at 4:28p. Does make a difference...
btw... the first 2 mom's were my mom and the 3rd mom was me... no I was not having a discussion w/ myself... :)
