Miss Alma

Some 20 years ago, Aunt Alma received this plant for her anniversary. (Don't remember which one)... anyway she gave it to Mom because she knew Mom would take good care of it. Well take care of it she did.... It has grown so much, it can no longer stand up in her house. With ceilings that seem to reach forever for Miss Alma, she has been passed on to her new care keeper, Kari & Josiah. It was quite an ordeal getting her out of Mom's house....
through the back gate, and a cold ride in the back of our truck with Josiah & Chester...
finally arriving to her new home at "111".
Welcome Home Miss Alma!!!

Your Mom told me about her moving and we could not think what she's called besides Miss Alma! She's a philodendron! We named every plant we knew, but never came up with the right one. There are a few different ones that look like her, so I'm not sure exactly what she is, but I was glad to finally see a picture resembling her.

Don't you hate it when you know you know something but can't come up with it?

Hope she enjoys her new home! ;)

She was given to Alma and Rex ot their 50th Anniv party. When Alma went to the nursing home she wanted us to take the plant and take care of it. I named her Miss Alma after her loving former owner.
I hope she will enjoy her new home. She can stand tall now at 111 Lamar. The Daniel Frame and Art Studio.
Go by and visit them and Miss Alma. I think they open the Studio Friday.
